our History

A part of the community since 1973!

The Fit Stop Physical Therapy and Health Club has been a part of this community since 1973 when Alan Bluth began his practice in the Heber Valley. Alan Bluth pioneered the integration of health club facilities and physical therapy clinics in the 1980s when he built his first health club here in Heber.

With several locations throughout the valley, the Fit Stop has grown from 5,000 sq feet to its current 27,000 sq ft. facility in the old soup factory building next to the Wasatch County Rec Center. We are still making history. We currently have over 3,000 members. Many have belonged to the Fit Stop for years. We work hard to continually earn that support and loyalty from our members.

If you have never been in the Fit Stop or it’s been a while, please come by to see what’s new!

She has championed the introduction of national group exercise programs with certified instructors that brings the quality and consistency to the group exercise program. Jackie promotes professionalism and medically-sound technique to group exercise. In every class you will join a group of like-minded individuals for a fun, energetic and effective workout. From first-timer to seasoned “hard-body” everyone is welcome.
